What is Riosoma?
A database platform you host yourself. It reads data from the systems you already use, joins it together, lets you correct it without touching the source, and gives your team views, dashboards, forms, and automations on top.
Short answers. If yours is not here, it will be once somebody asks it twice.

Airtable keeps your data on its servers and charges for each person. Riosoma runs on your servers and charges nobody. It also starts from the data you already have, wherever it lives, instead of asking you to move in.
Yes. Free to use, for people and for organizations. People may charge for installing it, supporting it, and teaching it. Nobody may charge for the software itself.
You run it yourself, so you need a server and a PostgreSQL database. And the license has a rule about being decent to other people. That is the whole catch.
Docker, and PostgreSQL 14 or newer. A small server is plenty to start. This website and its demo share one machine with four gigabytes of memory.
Nowhere. It stays in your database, on your servers. Riosoma does not phone home with your data.
No. Everything works without it. If you turn Rio on, you choose the provider, you see what each answer costs, and you can turn it off again.
Every page. The pages are a Riosoma interface, and this answer is a record in a table called FAQ. Open the demo and go find it.
No. It is read-only: click everything, and nothing you change is saved. A visit lasts two hours, which is longer than most people need to stop being skeptical.
Soon. The first public build is being finished now.
